My Kind of Town
Back in August as summer was winding down and before the holiday season picked up at my job I booked a last minute trip to Chicago since there was a special on Expedia. I took off work packed my bags and headed to The Windy City. I had been to Chicago many times before while touring as a tour manager for different bands over the years but had never really had a chance to explore it. I arrived and hopped on the train into downtown to check out The Navy Pier and the Magnificent Mile. After walking around different parts of the city and checking out some cool lil local spots I decided to head back downtown and visit the infamous Bean at Millennium Park. Then left from there and headed to an event at the Shedd Aquarium called Jazzin at The Shedd, it was all sorts of perfect, live jazz, fish, water, dolphins, beluga whales and fireworks all on the shoreline of Lake Michigan with the most gorgeous sunset behind the skyline. The next day i ventured around Wicker Park and found the Love Wall painted by jgoldcrown behind the Toms store. After snapping some pics around Wicker Park I headed back downtown to walk the Chicago Riverwalk. The architecture was mind blowing and every lookup was more than a picture could capture. And speaking oh pictures, the iPhone is an amazing tool. All of these pictures were captured with the 6s and any and all edits were done through A Color Story.
